OXON HILL, MD – The Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that transpired in Oxon Hill last Friday, claiming the life of 18-year-old Kenyon Valentine of Alexandria, VA.
Officers responded to the 6800 block of Haven Avenue at approximately 5:45 pm, where they discovered Valentine inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators are currently working to establish a motive and identify any suspect(s) involved.
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case. The Homicide Unit is asking anyone with relevant information to contact them at 301-516-2512.
