Woman Hospitalized in Pittsburgh Shooting

PITTSBURGH, PA – A woman was hospitalized following a shooting incident in Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Pittsburgh Police responded to a Shotspotter alert, which detected three rounds fired, in the 3100 block of Ashlyn Street at approximately 5:40 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a female victim with a gunshot wound to her arm. She was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Another woman at the scene was treated for a potential graze wound or scrape to her arm. Shell casings were recovered from the vicinity by the police.

Currently, there is no suspect description available, and no arrests have been made. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
