New York Police Continue Search for Killer of Family in 2014

GUILDERLAND, NY – Nine years after the devastating murder of the Chen family, the New York State Police are persistently continuing their investigation into the heart-wrenching case.

On the evening of October 8, 2014, both State Police and multiple additional law enforcement entities rushed to a residence located on Western Avenue in Guilderland. They were met with a horrifying scene as they found the lifeless bodies of the young Chen siblings, seven-year-old Eddy and ten-year-old Anthony, along with their parents, Hai Yan Li and Jin Feng Chen. All had been brutally killed.

Dedicated units such as the State Police Troop G Major Crimes and SP New Scotland remain deeply committed to unraveling this tragedy. The State Police fervently appeal to the public for their collaboration in shedding light on this dark incident.
