Man Shot Multiple Times Dead In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A man died from multiple gunshot wounds he sustained yesterday in Southeast, D.C., sparking an ongoing police investigation.

Officers from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the 2600 block of Douglas Road just before noon. Upon arrival, they discovered a man with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Joshua Starr, 37, a resident of Southeast, D.C.
