Man Beaten and Robbed by Group of Four in Severn

SEVERN, MD – Early on October 4, officers were called to Pioneer Drive in Severn following a reported strong-arm robbery. A 38-year-old male, while on his way to a store on Pioneer Drive, was confronted by three to four male suspects. The assailants assaulted him, landing multiple blows to his face and body.

After the victim was brought to the ground, they robbed him of his cash and escaped the scene.

Although the victim suffered from non-life-threatening injuries, he was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

No weapons were used during the encounter. The investigation, under the jurisdiction of Western District detectives, is ongoing.
