TRENTON, NJ – The Powerball jackpot has swelled to $1.2 billion, making it the third largest in the game’s history and the first instance of consecutive billion-dollar prize pools.
The jackpot has grown through 32 drawings without a winner since July 19, when a ticket purchased in California secured a $1.08 billion payout. The next drawing, slated for tomorrow, will feature the current $1.2 billion prize.
