Escaped Fugitive Maryland Inmate Identified as Montgomery County Carjacker

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – Montgomery County Police are asking the public for help in locating Naseem Roulack, 21, who is wanted for an armed carjacking that took place on September 1. The incident occurred around 12:05 a.m. on the 400 block of W. Deer Park Rd.

The adult female victim was sitting in her blue 2016 Nissan Sentra when Roulack allegedly approached her, brandished a black handgun, and demanded her vehicle. Detectives later identified Roulack as an escaped inmate from the Virginia Department of Corrections, where he is serving a 13-year sentence for aggravated malicious wounding, grand larceny, and hit & run.

Roulack is described as a Black male, 5-feet, 6-inches tall, weighing 225 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos near his right eye, on his left cheek, and on his neck.

The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force is offering a $5,000 cash reward for information leading to Roulack’s capture. Roulack escaped from custody on August 12 while receiving medical treatment at St. Mary’s Hospital in Henrico, Virginia.
