Elderly Man Assaulted and Robbed in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying two individuals connected to a robbery on Thursday, September 14, near Evergreen Avenue and Palmetto Street.

At around 4:30 pm, a 76-year-old man was cleaning his vehicle when he was approached and assaulted by two individuals.

The assailants punched the victim multiple times, displayed a firearm, and attempted to take his wallet but were unsuccessful.

They fled in the victim’s vehicle. The victim sustained minor injuries. One of the suspects is described as a male with a dark complexion, slim build, hair styled in twists, wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and a blue bandana.

The public is asked to provide any information they might have.
