BUFFALO, NY – Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn has been chosen by the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) to present at their 28th General Meeting in London.
Flynn will discuss the Erie County District Attorney’s Office’s response to a racially motivated mass shooting at Tops Friendly Markets in Buffalo.
Flynn’s presentation, titled “Buffalo Strong: The Role of the Prosecutor After a Racially Motivated Mass Shooting,” will detail the investigation and prosecution of the shooter responsible for ten deaths and three injuries. Flynn has previously shared this presentation at conferences in Arizona, Kentucky, and Virginia.
Flynn expressed his honor in sharing his experiences on a global platform, emphasizing the importance of preparedness and support in the wake of such tragedies.
The IAP, founded in 1995, is a global community of prosecutors dedicated to upholding the rule of law and combating crime.
