FREDERICK, MD – A painting contractor from Martinsburg, West Virginia, won a $100,000 top prize from a Maryland Lottery scratch-off, purchased while he was in Frederick for work.

The contractor routinely buys two to three scratch-off tickets a week in the Frederick area. This time, he purchased a Bingo X10 6th Edition instant ticket from Washingtonian Express, located at 1395 West Patrick Street in Frederick.

“When I went to scan my ticket, I couldn’t believe that I had won. I was very happy,” the 42-year-old man said.

He plans to put the prize money into savings and continue playing Maryland Lottery games. “I want to try to win again,” he added.

Washingtonian Express will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling the winning ticket.

This is the third top-prize-winning ticket sold since the Bingo X10 6th Edition game was launched on March 20. Four $100,000 prizes, 12 $10,000 prizes, and other amounts ranging from $10 to $1,000 remain unclaimed.
