NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is actively seeking information regarding an assault that occurred on the northbound “5” train platform of the Prospect Avenue train station.

The incident took place last Friday, at around 9:20 pm. A 32-year-old male was approached by unidentified individuals who proceeded to stab him multiple times before fleeing.

The victim was immediately transported to St. Barnabas Hospital and is currently in serious but stable condition.

The New York City Police Department is urging anyone with information to come forward.
