WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ — Wall High School was briefly evacuated this morning after a fire alarm went off at approximately 9:10 a.m., prompting response from local police and fire departments.

The cause was identified as a malfunctioning smoke detector head, which has since been fixed and the system reset. The school was evacuated for around 15 minutes while authorities attended to the issue.

Both the Wall Township Police Department and Fire Department responded to the alarm and ensured the school’s safety before students and staff were allowed to re-enter the building.

The incident concluded without injuries or further complications.
