A leaked memo from a PAC affiliated with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis suggested the governor might attack former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s campaign as nothing more but an audition for MSNBC.

“Trump isn’t here, so let’s just leave him alone,” the leaked memo read from the Never Back Down PAC. “He’s too weak to defend himself here. We’re all running against him. I don’t think we want to join forces with someone on this stage who’s auditioning for a show on MSNBC.”

DeSantis never used the line, but later said in a Fox News interview, “I’ve taken on the Left, the Democrats, and the media — and we’ve beaten them.”

During the debate, DeSantis did say he would use special forces to take out the Mexican drug cartels.

“Yes, I would send U.S. Special Forces to take out the Mexican drug cartels. They are killing tens of thousands of our fellow citizens. How many more are we going to let die? As Commander in Chief, I will use all available powers to protect our country and our people.” he said.
