DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD – Prince George’s County Police patrol officers have arrested two individuals concerning several armed robberies at businesses within the county.
The suspects are 18-year-old Hevander Maradiadi Lozano and 19-year-old Christian Garcia Carranza, both from District Heights.
On Wednesday morning, at 1:20 am, officers were dispatched to a fast food restaurant in the 4800 block of Silver Hill Road following a report of an armed robbery. Within 90 minutes, two more calls reported armed robberies at fast food outlets in the 8700 block of Central Avenue and the 6100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway. A mere 10 minutes after the third incident, officers spotted the suspects’ vehicle near Marlboro Pike and Forestville Road.
A brief pursuit ensued, culminating in the vehicle stopping in the 7600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, where both suspects were apprehended.
Further investigations linked these suspects to another armed robbery on August 13, 2023, at a fast food establishment in the 3500 block of Branch Avenue.
