BEACH HAVEN, NJ – Residents and visitors along the Jersey Shore should be prepared for unsettled weather, as the forecast promises a mixture of showers and possible thunderstorms in the coming days.
For today, expect partly sunny skies with a high of around 81°F. There’s a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3pm, with potential rainfall amounts less than a tenth of an inch.
However, higher amounts are possible during thunderstorms. The wind will come from the southwest, blowing at 10 to 15 mph.
Tonight, the chance of showers and thunderstorms persists until 1am, followed by a slight chance of rain between 1am and 2am.
The night will be mostly cloudy with a low of about 72°F. Winds will shift from the southeast at 5 mph to westward after midnight.
Rainfall amounts tonight could be between a quarter and half an inch. Come Wednesday, anticipate partly sunny conditions again with highs nearing 81°F. The wind will start from the north at 5 to 10 mph, shifting to the south in the afternoon.
