COLUMBUS, OH – A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Charles Fleming, an 18-year-old man, in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in East Linden on August 5.
Columbus Police have charged Fleming with murder for his alleged involvement in the incident that resulted in the death of 21-year-old Chrishon Fisher.
At approximately 3:20 a.m., Columbus Police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2400 block of Marcia Diver.
Upon their arrival police discovered Chrishon Fisher suffering from a gunshot wound. Fisher succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
Homicide detectives have been actively investigating the case and have identified Charles Fleming as the prime suspect in the murder. As law enforcement continues their efforts to apprehend Fleming, they are also seeking to identify a second suspect believed to be involved in the incident.
