ABSECON, NJ – A major motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV resulted in serious injuries to the motorcycle operator on Friday morning.
The incident occurred at around 8:00 AM, at the intersection of US Route 30 (White Horse Pike) and Shore Road. The road remained closed for approximately two hours for investigations.
Douglas Steel, 65, of Galloway, the motorcycle operator, was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries. The SUV operator, Jarah Moskovitz, 34, of Atlantic City was not injured in the accident.
The sequence of events leading up to the crash is currently under investigation by the Absecon Traffic Unit.
