64-Year-Old Man Beaten and Robbed on Queens Subway Train

NEW YORK CITY, NY – Following an ongoing investigation, the New York City Police Department has identified a series of related robberies.

On Sunday, July 30, at approximately 4:10 am, a 64-year-old man was assaulted and robbed on a Queens-bound ‘F’ train.

According to the police report, two unidentified men approached the victim, attempted to steal his wallet, and struck him in the face. After failing to take the wallet, which was secured by a chain to the victim’s pant belt loop, they took cash from his pants pocket.

The assailants exited the train at the 169 Street station and fled towards Highland Avenue. The victim was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition.

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the individuals involved. They encourage anyone with information about these incidents to contact them through the confidential tip line or the Crime Stoppers website.
