CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD – Edward Gary, a 37-year-old man from Winnsboro, SC, is the prime suspect in the fatal shooting of 43-year-old Isaac Jenkins, also from Winnsboro, SC.

The incident occurred on Saturday evening, and both the victim and the suspect are related by blood. Currently, Gary is under custody in South Carolina.

At around 9:20 pm, last Saturday, police officers arrived at the 8500 block of Ashwood Drive following a report of a shooting. Jenkins was found outside, succumbing to his gunshot wounds, and was declared dead at the scene. Another victim, an adult female, was discovered with injuries, not life-threatening.

The preliminary investigation suggests that Gary shot both victims amid a heated argument. He now faces charges of first and second-degree murder, attempted murder, and other related offenses. He remains in South Carolina, waiting for his extradition to Prince George’s County.

The Prince George’s County Police Department requests anyone with information concerning the investigation to contact the detectives at 301-516-2512.
