WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Homicide Branch of the D.C. Metro Police Department has announced that an arrest has been made in connection with a homicide that took place on July 13th within the 2200 block of 6th Street, Northwest.
Just after 6 am, officers were dispatched to the location following a shooting report. Once they arrived, they discovered 34-year-old Rafael Adolfo Gomez. Despite being rushed to an area hospital and receiving extensive life-saving efforts, Gomez did not survive the injuries sustained in the incident.
A 14-year-old juvenile male from D.C was arrested on Monday and charged with Felony Murder while Armed.
