NEWPORT NEWS, VA – Last Friday, a robbery occurred at Truist Bank on the 700 block of J. Clyde Morris Boulevard.
At about 12:36 PM, an adult male walked into the bank, handed a note to a teller, and made off with an unspecified amount of currency. The suspect fled from the scene, possibly by vehicle.
The man is described as Black, wearing an orange and white traffic vest along with a multi-colored baseball cap. Images of the suspect have been circulated by the Newport News Police Department (NNPD).
The NNPD is actively investigating the incident.
