Home Invaders Posing as FBI Agents Take Benz, $40k from Queens Couple

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying individuals involved in a home invasion and robbery incident.

The incident occurred on Sunday, July 16, around 07:30 AM.

Two male individuals in a black Porsche Cayenne reportedly approached a 25-year-old male and 31-year-old female as they returned to their residence near Main Street and Elder Avenue. These individuals identified themselves as FBI agents and brandished firearms. They proceeded to tase the victims and bind them.

The perpetrators reportedly stole the victims’ 2019 Mercedes-Benz GT50, approximately $20,000 in cash, $20,000 in cryptocurrency, a Rolex watch, a Hermes bag, a Chanel bag, a wallet, and a cellphone. They then fled in an unknown direction using both vehicles. No injuries were reported from this incident.

The New York City Police Department is asking anyone with information about this incident to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
