Baltimore Police Make Arrest In Shooting Death of 21-Year-Old

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department has announced that an arrest has been made in the shooting death of 21-year-old Edgar Bonilla that happened on April 3rd at the 6300 block of Eastern Avenue in Southeast, Baltimore

At around 7:30 pm, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Imla Street to investigate a report of a shooting. Upon reaching the scene, officers found a 21-year-old male with gunshot wounds to his body. The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the shooting took place in the 6300 block of Eastern Avenue.

Baltimore Police Make Arrest In Shooting Death of 21-Year-Old

On July 11th, 20-year-old Kerin Aviles-Alvarez of Baltimore was apprehended by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force at a residence situated in the 300 block of Hornel Street. Following the arrest, Aviles-Alvarez was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he faced charges of 1st Degree Murder and various handgun violations.
