MARLBORO TOWNSHIP, NJ – As a result of an ongoing investigation, the Marlboro Township Police Department has charged two more individuals in relation to a series of car thefts and burglaries that occurred on July 2nd.
The first subject, a resident of Linden, NJ, is facing an extensive list of charges.
The charges include: one count of auto theft, six counts of burglary, seven counts of attempted burglary, and thirteen counts of trespassing with the purpose to commit auto theft, under Mayor Hornik’s newly enacted local ordinance.
The second subject, also from Linden, has been charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of trespassing with the purpose to commit auto theft, in accordance with the same local ordinance.
Marlboro Township Police Detectives continue their investigation into these incidents, focusing on preventing future occurrences of such crimes in the township.
