Isolated Showers Expected Later Today at the Jersey Shore

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ – In today’s weather forecast for the Jersey Shore, we can expect isolated showers and thunderstorms developing after 10 am. Some of these storms may bring heavy rainfall. The day will be partly sunny, with a high temperature near 88 degrees.

A gentle south wind of 5 to 10 mph is expected. The chance of precipitation stands at 20%.

Moving into tonight, there remains a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 am. Some of these storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rainfall.

The sky will be mostly cloudy, and the temperature will drop to around 74 degrees. A south wind of around 10 mph will be blowing. The chance of precipitation increases to 40%. Rainfall amounts are predicted to be less than a tenth of an inch, but it’s worth noting that higher amounts are possible during thunderstorms.

Looking ahead to Sunday, showers and thunderstorms are likely, especially after 8 am. Similar to the previous days, some storms may bring gusty winds and heavy rain.
