MATTAPAN, MA – On Wednesday, at around 2:01 AM, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to reports of multiple shootings in the area of Edgewater Drive and River Street in Mattapan.
Upon arrival, multiple victims were located, all suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. Three victims were transported to local hospitals by Boston EMS, and the other two managed to self-transport.
An attempt to flee the scene was observed, and officers intervened to confirm there were no additional victims in the escaping vehicle. Further investigation led to the recovery of a loaded Lorcin L 380 firearm from the vehicle.
A third suspect was seen discarding another firearm, an H&K VP9, and was promptly taken into custody. An additional firearm, a Smith & Wesson M&P, was also retrieved from the scene.
The individuals arrested were identified as Hakeem Ramey, 29, of Brockton; Nashaly Seguinot, 25, of Boston; and Samuel Roman, 24, also of Boston. All have been charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
