Firearm and Drug Charges for South Boston Man Following Investigation

SOUTH BOSTON, MA – On Thursday, at about 9:42 PM, the Youth Violence Strike Force arrested Shalik Jordan, a 31-year-old resident of South Boston, on firearm and drug charges.

The arrest took place in the area of 110 Westview Street as part of an ongoing firearm investigation. Officers were aware that Jordan was likely in possession of a firearm and had an active warrant out for his arrest. Officers found a firearm, a Glock 48, with one round in the chamber and eight rounds in the magazine in Jordan’s vehicle.

In addition, officers recovered multiple plastic bags appearing to contain approximately 11 grams of Fentanyl and roughly 40 grams of Crack Cocaine. Jordan is charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Trafficking of Class B, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A. His arraignment is expected to take place in Dorchester District Court.
