MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigative Section are probing multiple instances of hate-based vandalism in Silver Spring. The department seeks public assistance in identifying the culprits involved.
Preliminary investigations indicate that from Tuesday, to Wednesday, various Pride and Ukrainian flags were desecrated in several neighborhoods, including Mansfield Road, Wayne Place, Ellsworth Place, Greenbrier Drive, Pershing Drive, and Deerfield Avenue.
