LACEY TOWNSHIP – Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer has announced that John Vincentini, a 62-year-old resident of Lacey Township, has been indicted by a Grand Jury in Ocean County. Vincentini is facing charges of Bias Intimidation and Terroristic Threats in connection with an incident that took place on September 5, 2022, in Lacey Township.

The investigation, conducted by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Bias Crime Unit and Lacey Township Police Department Detective Bureau, revealed that on September 5, 2022, Vincentini was operating a motor vehicle in Lacey Township when he followed an Amazon delivery driver into a cul-de-sac while the driver was making deliveries. Vincentini deliberately positioned his vehicle in a manner that obstructed the Amazon driver’s vehicle.

He then confronted the driver, questioning why he was in the neighborhood and making inquiries about whether the driver understood that it was a racist neighborhood.

According to reports, Vincentini proceeded to ask the driver if he wanted him to retrieve his rifle from his car and shoot the driver in the head. Faced with this alarming threat, the Amazon driver drove away and promptly contacted the Lacey Township Police Department to report the incident.

On October 5, 2022, Vincentini turned himself in to the Lacey Township Police Department. He was processed and subsequently released on a summons pending future appearances in Ocean County Superior Court.
