Police investigating ATM, vehicle burlgaries in Queens

QUEENS, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying two individuals and a vehicle involved in a series of burglaries across Queens North and Queens South.

On Saturday, May 13, a 2003 white Ford F250 with a trailer attached was stolen from 75-09 Woodhaven Boulevard. The owner reported the vehicle missing on Tuesday, May 16.

In a subsequent incident on Saturday, May 20, two individuals used a vehicle to break into a closed commercial establishment at 168-22 Union Turnpike. They removed an ATM machine containing approximately $4,600 and fled the scene.

Lastly, on Tuesday, June 20, the same vehicle was used in another burglary. Two individuals backed the vehicle into an ATM outside a gas station at 252-02 Union Turnpike. One individual removed the ATM, which contained approximately $2,400, before both fled the scene.

In all instances, the stolen vehicle from the first incident was used. No injuries have been reported in relation to these crimes. The Police Department is asking to the public for any information regarding these incidents.
