Police Seek Fugitive who Stole Jersey Devil from Shore luncheonette

Stafford Township, NJ – The Stafford Township Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Thomas L. Bintz, a suspect wanted in connection with the theft of the ‘Iconic Jersey Devil Statue’ from Lucilles Luncheonette – Country Cooking in Warren Grove, NJ.

A warrant has been issued for Bintz’s arrest on charges of fourth-degree Criminal Mischief and third-degree Theft.

The theft was reported to the police on June 24, 2023, and following a thorough investigation by the Stafford Township Detective Bureau, Bintz was identified as the primary suspect. However, at this time, he has not been apprehended.

Thomas L. Bintz, 52 years old, is believed to be from Chandlersville, Ohio. The Stafford Township Police Department is urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.
