ERIE COUNTY, NY – Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn revealed on Monday that Victor M. Cramer-Williams, 28, also known as “Bookie,” of Buffalo pleaded guilty to Manslaughter in the First Degree before Erie County Court Judge James Bargnesi.
On the night of January 25, 2022, Cramer-Williams discharged multiple shots from an illegal firearm towards a male victim inside an Auburn Avenue apartment in Buffalo. Another person was injured in the incident. After the shooting, Cramer-Williams fled the scene.
Both victims were transported to ECMC. The male victim, 47, survived his injuries, while the female victim, Erica M. Ralston, 37, of Buffalo, died on February 8, 2022.
Cramer-Williams was found by Buffalo Police Department, U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force and FBI Safe Streets Task Force at a West Utica Street residence on April 14, 2022. He attempted to avoid arrest by jumping out of a window and discarding a black bag containing an illegal pistol.
Cramer-Williams continues to be held without bail. He faces up to 25 years in prison at his sentencing on Monday, July 24, 2023.
