New sushi and seafood buffet opens in Brookyn

Brooklyn, NY – UMI Premium Sushi & Seafood Buffet, a renowned dining establishment, celebrated the opening of its first location in the state of New York on Tuesday, June 6. The grand opening event took place at 3839 Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn and marked the third UMI location nationwide, with plans for 30 more to come.

The ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by local representatives, including New York City Senator Solomiya Momot, Council Member Inna Vernikov representing District 48, Vladimir Sterlin, Senior Director of Policy & Government Affairs at the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, Kenneth Marable from the Chamber of Commerce, and representatives from the local police and fire departments.

The grand opening festivities featured a special performance by Strings for Spirit, a talented group of local violinists. UMI presented a donation check of $200 to support the group’s endeavors. Additionally, UMI contributed $300 to the Foundation for the Emancipation of Women and Girls, further demonstrating their commitment to supporting the community.

He emphasized that UMI is a family-friendly restaurant and a proud member of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. The grand opening event was also graced by the presence of notable individuals, including Hakki Akdeniz, a celebrity and entrepreneur, Justin Girard, President of the Soho Film Festival, Chuk Li, Head of Sales and Private Client at StoneX Group Inc., as well as UMI executives Leon Chen, Beau Stickley, and Yongxing Lin. Their attendance added to the excitement of this significant milestone for UMI.
