Interstate Shooting in Chesterfield Leaves One Man in Critical Condition

CHESTERFIELD, VA – A man is fighting for his life after a shooting incident on Interstate 95 in Chesterfield early last Thursday morning. Virginia State Police reported the incident happened near the Bells Road and Willis Road exits just before 4 a.m.

The victim, driving a Hyundai Elantra along I-95, was shot through the driver-side window, according to officials. The man sustained life-threatening injuries and was promptly transported to VCU Medical Center.
