ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – A man was apprehended and charged by the Atlantic City Police Department on Thursday, following a month-long investigation.

Detectives from the Special Investigations Section executed a search warrant at a residence on the 100 block of north Iowa Avenue in connection with an ongoing narcotics distribution investigation. The investigation’s target, Felix Beltran, was found and arrested at the scene.

Investigators discovered an assortment of prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, 24 catalytic converters, and tools used for the removal of such converters during the search. Five of the catalytic converters were linked to a theft that happened earlier the same day at a local business. Further investigations are ongoing, with additional charges possible.

The public is reminded that charges are mere allegations and the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
