Brooklyn man charged for Subway Attack

NEW YORK, NY – An arrest has been made in connection with an assault at a Brooklyn subway train, according to the New York City Police Department. Sean Lewis, a 33-year-old male from Brooklyn, , was arrested and charged on Thursday, at 7:30 am.

The initial assault was reported on Wednesday, May 10, on a southbound C train near the Clinton-Washington Avenue subway station. The victim, a 44-year-old male, intervened in a dispute and was slashed in the face with an unknown sharp object.

The assailant then fled the subway station. The victim was treated at NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County for facial injuries.
