Two teens among three arrested in Seaford shooting

SEAFORD, DE – Three suspects have been arrested for murder and related charges following a home invasion and shooting in Seaford, Delaware, on October 11, 2022.

According to authorities, Trent Ingalls, 20, of Milford, DE, a 17-year-old juvenile male of Seaford, DE, and a 15-year-old juvenile male of Seaford, were identified as the suspects responsible for the shooting death of Carl Pedone Jr., 19, and the injury of a 19-year-old female.

The suspects allegedly forced entry into the victim’s home through the rear door, brandishing handguns and demanding an unknown item. The male victim was shot multiple times in his bedroom, while the female victim was shot while seated in a chair in the same room. An infant child and two other adults were also in the residence at the time but were not injured.

After a lengthy investigation, Trent Ingalls and the 17-year-old juvenile male were indicted by a Sussex County Grand Jury for murder on April 24. Two days later, on April 26, the 17-year-old juvenile male was taken into custody without incident at his residence. The third suspect, the 15-year-old juvenile male, has not been located yet.

The Delaware State Police have urged anyone with information about the whereabouts of the missing juvenile suspect to contact them immediately.
