ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Last week, staff from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office visited the Carnegie Library in Atlantic City to speak to students in the Leaders in Training (LIT) program.
The LIT initiative, which is part of the Youth Workforce Development Program, aims to provide career and social skills development to at-risk youth.
During the visit, Assistant Prosecutor Dave Little and Director of Community Outreach Raymond Royster spoke to the teens about career development and decision-making on Tuesday.
Later that week, Detective Armani Rex, Deputy Director of Community Outreach Shavonne Davis, and Agent Rich Cornett shared their own career development and college preparation stories, and answered the teens’ questions about their journeys to their current positions.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s visit was part of the LIT program’s efforts to empower youth in Atlantic City.
