Brooklyn Resident Indicted on Charges of Human Trafficking and Assault

BROOKLYN, NY – District Attorney Eric Gonzalez announced the indictment of Samuel Tucker, 39, from Crown Heights, Brooklyn, for human trafficking, promoting prostitution, assault, and other charges involving a 19-year-old girl and a 40-year-old woman.

Tucker was arraigned on Friday before Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice E. Niki Warin on a 27-count indictment. If convicted, Tucker faces up to 25 years in prison and will be required to register as a sex offender. Bail was set at $200,000 cash or $750,000 bond, with a court return date of May 10, 2023.

The investigation revealed that Tucker exploited the homeless 19-year-old girl, promising her cash and drugs in exchange for prostitution.

He allegedly arranged dates for her and kept all the money she earned. Tucker also allegedly physically abused both the 19-year-old girl and the 40-year-old woman.
