ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Glen Graves, 32, a fugitive wanted for his involvement in several incidents, including a shooting from August and multiple incidents from December of 2022, has been apprehended following a joint investigation. The Atlantic City Police Department, the FBI, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Galloway Township Police Department collaborated to track down and arrest Graves on Friday, at a residence in Galloway Township, NJ.

Graves was initially wanted for his involvement in a shooting incident on August 5, 2022, in the Brigantine Homes section of Atlantic City. Two shooting victims arrived at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for treatment following a ShotSpotter alert and a report of shots fired. The Violent Crimes Unit’s investigation led to charges being filed against Graves.

On December 27, 2022, Graves committed a series of crimes, including forcing his way into a residence at gunpoint, robbing the occupants, and kidnapping one of the victims to withdraw cash from an ATM. Officer John Bell later spotted Graves fleeing from the scene and gave chase. Graves managed to elude capture, but not before discarding a defaced handgun fitted with a high-capacity magazine and loaded with hollow-point ammunition.

Graves’ arrest came after he was found hiding in an apartment building in Galloway Township. He now faces multiple charges, including Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Burglary, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, Possession of Hollow-Point Ammunition, Possession of a High-Capacity Magazine, Possession of a Defaced Firearm, Certain Persons Not to Possess a Weapon, Resisting Arrest, and Simple Assault.

Graves is currently being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility, and the charges against him are mere allegations until proven guilty in a court of law.
