14-year-old girl stabbed by brother inside Queens home

NEW YORK, NY – A 14-year-old girl was stabbed by her brother inside their home in Jamaica, Queens Saturday night.

Police responded to the home near the intersection of 111th Avenue and 156th Street after a reported stabbing. When officers arrived, they found the girl with multiple stab wounds to her body.

She was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where she was listed in stable condition.

The brother, who was younger than his sister, was arrested and charged by police. The NYPD did not release his name or announce specific charges at this time.
