NEW YORK, NY – An 18-year-old male victim was assaulted and robbed by a group of men aboard a subway train as it entered the Coney Island subway station.

According to police, on Friday, at around 6:15 pm, three suspects approached the victim aboard the southbound D train as it approached the iconic Stillwell Avenue subway station in Coney Island.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the identities and whereabouts of the individuals depicted in the attached media wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the Transit District 34/ 60th Precinct. Details are as follows:    

“Three unidentified individuals approached the victim and punched the victim in the face and removed his cell phone before fleeing at the subway station,” detectives with the NYPD’s 60th Precinct reported. “The victim sustained fractures to the face and was removed by EMS to Coney Island Hospital in stable condition.”

The suspects fled. No arrests have been made.
