NEW YORK, NY – A man was shot and killed in broad daylight on Thursday near the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Lexington Avenue in Harlem.
Police officers with the NYPD’s 28th Precinct responded to the call for a shooting victim shortly before 3 pm.
When officers arrived, they located the unidentified male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest. He was treated at the scene before being taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem where he was later pronounced dead.
At this time, no arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified.
