NEW YORK, NY – A 19-year-old male was shot during an exchange of gunfire on Holland Avenue in the East Bronx on Sunday. According to detectives from the 49th Precinct, two groups of unidentified suspects engaged in a dispute and began discharging firearms at each other at around 11:40 pm.
One male suspect was struck by gunfire. EMS transported him to Jacobi Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. Police said he was struck one time in the back.
After the gunfight, all of the others involved fled the scene.
