RIVERDALE, MD – Detectives with the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit are continuing their investigation into a shooting death that took place Saturday night.
Police have identified the victim as 40-year-old Tyrone McKinney of Riverdale.
According to police, at approximately 8:10 pm, officers responded to the 6800 block of Riverdale Road for a shooting.
“Officers located the victim outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene,” the Prince George’s County Police Department reported.
At this time, no suspects have been identified. No arrests have been made. Investigators are working to determine a motive in the shooting.
