NEW YORK – The New York City Police Department has arrested Yahiness Holden, 29, for a knifepoint robbery aboard a Manhattan subway train on Wednesday.
Detectives reported the robbery on the 4 train in the area of Fulton Street and Wall Street at around 10 am. According to the NYPD, a 36-year-old man visiting the city was assaulted, punched in the face and robbed at knifepoint by Holden.
The attack was unprovoked. Police said the attacker asked his victim, “Why are you looking at me?” prior to the assault and robbery. The victim was treated for facial lacerations at a local hospital.
