PATERSON, NJ – Gunfire cracked the morning silence in Paterson as police responded to a shots fired call at the intersection of Route 20 and 1st Avenue. Police were called to the area at around 4:30 am Wednesday morning. Police are asking the public to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
