Man Stabbed in Back on NYC Subway Over $30

NEW YORK, NY – A straphanger riding the southbound 5 train in Brooklyn was robbed by three subjects and stabbed on Wednesday.

New York City Police report the victim was riding on the train as it approached the President Street station in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn.

Three males approached the subject and stole the man’s wallet, taking the $30 inside.

As the train entered the station, one of the men stabbed the victim and the three suspects fled.

The victim was treated for his injuries at Kings County Hospital Center.

Police have not identified the suspects or made any arrests in this attack.
