BROOKLYN, MD – On July 22, 2022, at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers responded for a robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 5617 Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park. An unknown male suspect entered the store, lunged over the counter, assaulted the cashier, and took cash from the register. The suspect then fled the store. The victim did not report any injuries.
Through investigative means, detectives were able to identify the suspect as Alexander James Harvey Sr., 38, of Edgewood, Maryland. Harvey was taken into custody on August 10, 2022, and charged accordingly.
