Middle Township Man Charged for Endangering Welfare of Child, Manufacturing CASM

CAPE MAY, NJ – A Whitesboro man has been arrested and charged for Child Sexual Abuse Material manufacturing.

Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Chief Christopher Leusner of the Middle Township Police Department announced the arrest of 26-year-old Abdul Blackmon, a resident of West Dunbar Street in the Whitesboro section of Middle Township.

According to a police report released today, on August 3, Blackmon was charged with one count of Manufacturing of Child Pornography, a crime of the first degree, one count of Sexual Assault, a crime of the second degree, and Possession of Child Pornography, a crime of the second degree and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a crime of the third degree.

The charges stem from Blackmon having a sexual relationship with a minor which was investigated by the Middle Township Police Department and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit.
